Incorporation of Unnatural Non-alpha-Amino Acids into the N Terminus of Proteins in a Cell-Free Translation System

摘要

Position-specific incorporation of unnatural amino acids into proteins has been achieved with expanded genetic codes by using an amber codon and four-base codons. This method has allowed the replacement of amino acids by unnatural residues at any desired position,other than the N terminus of proteins.
