High side current monitor

摘要

This circuit is designed to allow a microcontroller with an ADG(analog-to-digital converter)to sense current flow,although it could be useful in other applications,including analog circuits.The most common method involves passing the current through a shunt(resistor)and measuring the voltage drop across it.This resistor can be either on the high side(V_(CC))or the low side(ground)of the load.Sometimes a high-side monitor is desirable to avoid causing a shift in ground potential as seen by the load.
