Today, at Ground Zero, a tree root, sculpted in bronze, will be unveiled in honor of the fourth anniversary of 9/11. It took three days to transport the 6,000-pound bronze sculpture 70 miles from artist Steve Tobin's Pennsylvania foundry to the courtyard of the Trinity Church as Broadway and Wall St. When "Trinity Root" arrived at the site on Thursday morning, a crane hoisted it up and into the church courtyard. Tobin and his team hope the sculpture will stand there as a reminder of 9/11 for many generations to come. "I am used to doing exhibits in very charged locations, but none has more poignancy that Ground Zero," Tobin says.
