I have had my Garbage Bin Reminder (Silicon Chip, January 2013) working for some time and I noticed that things did not seem correct when I finished it. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to play with it then. Recently, I had to change the battery and I noticed that the programming steps don't work the way you have stated, eg, do you keep the Clear All/ Program button pressed all the time if you want to exclude a LED and press that LED button?
