How CFLs work

摘要

This photo shows the internal circuitry of a current model CFL used in a recent promotion by Sydney's major electricity distributor,Energy Australia.The two Mosfets are tiny,in TO-92 encapsulation.The 4.7 mu F main DC filter capacitor can be clearly seen.It is this capacitor which is the component most at risk from high temperatures.
