EUROPE'S FIRST BIOLPG SUPPLY ANNOUNCED AT IMHX

Calor is to become the first energy company in Europe to supply BioLPG to the UK warehousing, logistics and transport industry, following its preview at IMHX. Already a leading supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Calor will be offering the new, renewable fuel source from Q2/2017 when the first supplies become available. Approved by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification scheme, BioLPG is created from renewable feedstocks such as organic plant materials, vegetable oil and animal fats. As a sustainable fuel source, this offers up to 32% savings on greenhouse gas emissions without reducing performance, based on an allocation of 40% BioLPG and 60% conventional LPG blend.
