Fettling and deburring with diamond tools

Tyrolit was the first manufacturer of abrasive products to introduce a diamond tool for fettling with automatic machines. The launch was made at the international trade fair of the foundry industry - GIFA 2003. The grinding process was developed in close cooperation with the Italian machine manufacturer MAUS SpA. Excellent results have already been displayed at the foundry, Fonderie del Montello, Montebelluna in Italy, not only in terms of optimum surface quality of the machined cast parts, but also in cost reductions of up to 26%.
