Isolation and characterization of cDNA and genomic clones encoding human muscle type carnitine palmitoyltransferase I

With a eDNA pruhe encoding rat muscle type carnitine palmitoyltransferase I (CPTI), we isolated cDNA and genomic clones encoding the lunnim honinlogue and deduced the primary structure of human muscle type CPTI. By Northern analysis, we confirmed the dominant expression of this isoform in heart and skeletal muscle.
