摘要

The handbook runs to over a thousand pages and contains seventeen chapters divided into three logical parts. The first part is introductory and consists of two chapters that look at the history of finite fields and some basic properties of finite fields essential for the rest of the book. There is also a discussion about tables related to finite fields.
