Foundry International 2005 is now re-launched as Foundry International London 2005. The move of the show to London has been achieved with the support of Modern Media Communications Ltd, publishers of Cast Metal Times and Diecasting Times. FESA's aims are to make the show more affordable to exhibitors and more appealing to visitors. Also to enable suppliers to increase contact with new and existing customers giving the opportunity to create greater market awareness for their products. The London venue will be more attractive to many overseas visitors than the previous Birmingham location. Transport links within and to London could be considered the best in the world - five airports (Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Luton and City) serve London, plus the Eurostar train. Most major domestic rail lines terminate at London stations and coaches from all over the UK and Europe visit London. Transport within London is well provided with a world famous underground system ("The Tube"), frequent bus services and an extensive overground train network. Visitors should be aware that there is a ?5 (?8 approx) congestion charge for vehicles entering central London. This charge has however drastically reduced the traffic problems for which London has previously been famous. Low cost travel packages will be available for international and European visitors.
