摘要

Development of a Hall IC Wheel Speed Sensor-by Hideo Tawara, Hironobu Saka and Teruhisa Kono-Sumitomo Electric has developed a new digital speed sensor which precisely detects the rotation of automotive wheels. The sensor consists of adifferential Hall IC which is able to detect even very low speeds and is almost completely unaffected by vibration. This report presents an outline of the differential Hall IC, discribes various design conciderations and provides performance data for thesensor.
