Introduction

The 2014 Seminars in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Annual is a collection of manuscripts derived from the presentations at the 2013 AATS Post Graduate Course and Skills Course in congenital heart surgery. The two courses were dedicated to the theme ofreoperations in congenital heart disease. A concerted effort was made to coordinate topics between the Saturday Skills course and the Sunday Post Graduate course that address strategies for reoperation, technical aspects of the redo, and outcomes for various categories of congenital heart disease that require reoperation(s).
