Ethical dimensions of non-aggressive fetal management: a Muslim perspective.

Chervenak and McCullough present a finely balanced piece on the benefits of having an intermediate position between termination and aggressive fetal management. Not only does the argument for non-aggressive management in the defined circumstances stand up to ethical scrutiny, it also presents a 'middle way' for the pregnant woman in the emotionally charged decisions needed in the grey areas of peri-viability1 and severe fetal anomaly.
