摘要

A new method for measuring the magneto-impedance at high frequency is proposed here for rapidly solidified soft magnetic materials. The method is based on the S-parameter measurement technique by means of microwave network analysers. The material samples are inserted in a specific measurement cell consisting of a section of magnetic sample in the form of wire or ribbon suspended on a ground plane. The analysis of the measured scattering parameters of the cell allows one to obtain information on the magnetic permeability behaviour of the samples at high frequency. Some experimental results are reported in order to show the effectiveness of the technique. # 1998 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
