OceanSaver (Oslo, Norway) recently announced that its ballast water management system has received full type approval certification from Oslo-based Det Norske Veritas (DNV). The type approval certificate has been issued on behalf of the Norwegian Maritime Administration and confirms OceanSaver's compliance with the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) International Convention for the Control and Management of Ship's Ballast Water and Sediments.
