摘要

The eddy current loss caused by leakage magnetic field in the tank of ultrahigh voltage and large capacity power transformer is a serious problems in transformer operation. It is very significant to research the power transformer leakage magnetic field and eddy current loss on the tank wall accurately. The eddy current loss on the tank wall is calculated by the 3D model of power transformer leakage magnetic field and the distribution is analyzed in this paper. Electrical shielding and magnetic shielding are adopted to reduced eddy current loss. New calculation model are established respectively to attained eddy current loss on tank wall with shielding. The best size and location of the shielding is analyzed by changing its height. The calculating methods have been proved to be accuracy after experiment.
