PlanetSolar Begins Expedition On the Gulf Stream

The MS Turanor PlanetSolar departed from the French West Indies on May 23 and reached the shores of the United States on June 1. The ship will be dedicated to science as part of an expedition to study the Gulf Stream, a regulator of European and North American climates. The solar boat will serve a team of researchers from the University of Geneva.
