Micro structures and textures of pure magnesium deformed in plane-strain compression

摘要

Microstructures of textured polycrystalline Mg samples compressed parallel and perpendicular to the predominant c-axis direction in a channel die are characterized using EBSD. Anomalous peaks in the misorientation angle distribution of the latter sample result from twinning on two different {1012} planes within individual grains.
