摘要

A novel solid electrolyte-type carbon monoxide gas sensor was successfully devised by combining the CO oxidizing catalyst of Pt loaded CeO_2-ZrO_2-SnO_2 solid with our previously developed CO_2 gas sensor based on Al~(3+) ion conducting solid electrolyte. Since the present catalyst can completely oxidize CO to CO_2 at the temperatures above 65℃, the sensor showed a quantitative and reproducible response to CO with obeying a theoretical Nernst relationship by detecting CO concentration as a CO_2 one at as low as 350℃.
