The U.S.Department of the Interior's Minerals Management Service(MMS)recently issued a call for information and a notice of intent to prepare an environmental impact statement for Lease Sale 214,which is located offshore the state of Alaska,proposed for 2011 under the 2007 to 2012 Oil and Gas Outer Continental Shelf(OCS)Leasing Program.
