U.S.House of Representatives Passes Energy Bill

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 recently passed by a vote of 249 to 183 in the U.S.House of Representatives.The legislation included incentives for natural gas production from deep wells in shallow waters,oil and gas development in the Gulf of Mexico at depths of 400 meters or greater,onshore deep gas,marginal wells,Alaska production and gas hydrate production.
