Dr.Nicholas Meskhidze,assistant professor of marine,Earth and atmospheric sciences at North Carolina State University,and Dr.Athanasios Nenes of the Georgia Institute of Technology have discovered a direct link between gases released from phytoplankton and cloud formation,a relationship that may have implications for global climate change.
