Phase One Sub-Marine Cable Installation in the Persian Gulf

In recent years,the development plans of the oil and gas fields in the Persian Gulf have required the installation of heavy offshore decks to meet the production requirements of those fields.Most of these decks are connected to each other by means of submarine cables.Sub-marine cables also have vital importance in power and data transmission,even between continents,but this article concentrates on the usage and installation of submarine cables in offshore oil and gas fields.
