Corpro Coring Technology Wins Industry Award

Corpro (Aberdeen, Scotland) won an industry award in March for a new oil and gas coring technology—named iCore—that interprets what is happening inside the barrel. The company received the award in "The Idea" category at the Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards (SOAA) ceremony. The award also includes funding to help further develop the technology. Philippe Cravatte, technical director of Corpro, said iCore has a major advantage over current technology.
