New Workshop to Drive Swire Oilfield Services' U.K.Operations

Swire Oilfield Services (Aberdeen,Scotland) has officially opened its new pound 1.4 million Fleet Refurbishment Workshop in Aberdeen.Housing 25 Swire employees,including four new recruits,the 1,800-square-meter facility was constructed to accommodate increasing demands for refurbishment of the company's U.K.-based and supported rental fleet,the company said.The new facility allows Swire's employees to repair,weld and paint its U.K.fleet from a single location.This will lead to the equivalent of 1,000 mini-containers being refurbished next year,a 70 percent increase from those completed in the same period at the previous workshop,they continued.
