摘要

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is an emerging area of interesting research with a number of compelling potential applications. Nowadays, integration of WSN technology in healthcare applications or system becomes more significant in the medical industry. From healthcare application perspective, a sensor network can be seen as distributed system with tiny healthcare sensor nodes. Thus, sensor nodes can mutual communication as sending query to destination node by user. We studied a new-link-cost based approach to minimize the forwarding cost which finds the optimal path query from the sink node to the destination node. And in this paper, the proposed minimum cost forwarding model (MCFM) was implemented as query-based routing protocols in sensor network. MCFM is very effective in achieving optimal path without broadcasting all other path states to its destination node in order to reduce packet loss in sensor node. WSN database system (called query processor) is capable in controlling the efficiency for limited healthcare sensor node resource.
