Oceans '08 MTS/IEEE Kobe-Techno-Ocean '08

Oceans 2008 Marine Technology Society (MTS)/IEEE Kobe-Techno-Ocean '08 (OTO '08), a large-scale international convention on marine science and technology will run from April 8 to 11. Four years have passed since Oceans was held jointly with Techno-Ocean in 2004, its first time away from North America, as Oceans 2004 MTS/IEEE Techno-Ocean '04 (OTO '04). The joint conference will again be held in Kobe, Japan. The conference theme-"Voyage toward the Future"-reflects the conference committee's expectations and hopes that OTO '08 will bring many new challenges for the future by utilizing the international network built at OTO '04. With the Port of Kobe, one of Japan's feading international ports, Kobe is an ideal venue for OTO '08, the committee said.
