Metoc pic(Liphook,England)has completed the marine cable engineering and consent applications for the construction of BritNed's 600 million high-voltage,direct-current(HVDC)interconnector.When it becomes operational at the end of 2010,the interconnector will enable energy trading and increase the security of supply between the United Kingdom,The Netherlands and the wider European market.
