A chemical culprit responsible for the rapid, mysterious death of phyto-plankton in the North Atlantic Ocean has been found by collaborating scientists at Rutgers and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). The researchers say that this same chemical may hold promise for cancer research.
