OSG and Maritrans Announce Early Termination of Hart-Scott-Rodino Waiting Period

Overseas Shipholding Group Inc.(New York,New York) and Maritrans Inc.(Tampa,Florida) have jointly announced that the U.S.Federal Trade Commission,on behalf of itself and the Antitrust Division of the U.S.Department of Justice,granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 with respect to the proposed acquisition of Maritrans by Overseas Shipholding.
