Teamwork and cooperative efforts are becoming the norm and an increasing hallmark of ocean activities.Partnerships continue as a primary approach to undertaking projects.Each past and current joint effort clearly had and has a pioneer and leader to initiate and focus the work effort.Many of those pioneers and leaders have been,and continue to be,recognized by our community in a variety of meaningful ways.
