How AML products interact within WECDIS

The concept of additional military layers (AML) was introduced in 1995 with the intent to define a standardized format for non-navigational data.Since 1995,various North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) standardization agreement documents concerning AML data and warship electronic chart display and information systems (WECDIS) have been created.
