Subsea Integrity Specialist Completes UK Field Trial

Flexlife (Aberdeen, Scotland) has used its integrity monitoring technology at Chevron's (San Ramon, California) Captain field in the North Sea. The FlexGuard technology was tested on the 10-inch flexible riser at the Captain FPSO vessel. A bespoke Flex-Guard clamp had to be designed and manufactured to fit the riser. This was installed on the riser 40 meters below the water line during the initial phase of the project.
