Continue Flow PCR-CE Chip for DNA Analysis

摘要

PCR is a powerful tool in either diagnostic or molecular analysis of DNA and RNA. Miniaturization of the PCR devices decrease the amplification time and reduce expensive reagent quantities. A continue flow PCR-capillary electrophoresis chip was designed and fabricated by micro electro mechanical systems technology in this paper. Using this system controlled by FPGA, plant DNA sample was amplified and the PCR product was detected by the capillary electrophoresis. The experimental result showed that this microdevice could basically realize the amplification of DNA samples and separation.
