RV Cape Flattery Converted to Catcher Vessel

Marcon International Inc. (Coupeville, Washington) sold in September the RV Cape Flattery from Tanadgusix Corp. (Anchorage, Alaska) to U.S. Seafoods (Seattle, Washington). The vessel, renamed Seafreeze America, is being converted by U.S. Seafoods to fulfill a new role as a catcher and processor, joining their fleet of four catcher-processors and two catcher vessels working in the Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands and the Gulf of Alaska.
