NASA, the U.S. Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL), the European Space Agency (ESA) and scientists from the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) are developing more accurate monitoring and forecasting of Arctic sea ice, the NRL announced in March.
