BOEMRE Works to Improve Efficiency of Permit Review Process

BOEMRE Director Michael R. Bromwich announced in June that his agency was putting in place "significant improvements" in the oil and gas permit application process. The first of these improvements is the publication of a "completeness" checklist for offshore oil and gas operators. This high-level checklist includes the main components that need to be submitted by operators to make a permit application complete.
