Petroecuador,Chile's ENAP to Look for Gas in Guayaquil Gulf

The Petroecuador (Quito,Ecuador) board has accepted a proposal to form a new joint economic enterprise with the Santiago,Chile-based Empresa Nacional del Petroleo (ENAP),Ecuadorian mines and oil minister Galo Chiriboga said in late July.State-owned Petroecuador plans to create a joint venture with the Chilean state energy company,ENAP,to explore for-natural gas in the Gulf of Guayaquil offshore Ecuador,Chiriboga said.
