摘要

The effect titanium additions (0.01 wt. percent) have on sulphides in low carbon, low manganese (0.3 wt. percent Mn) steels was investigated by transmission electron microscopy. It was found that the titanium additions lead to the formation of a hexagonal iron titanium sulphide. The crystal structure of the iron titanium sulphide was determined by electron diffraction.
