Phase stability and magnetic properties of Co_2(Ti_(1-x)Fe_x)Ga Heusler alloys

摘要

The order-disorder phase transition temperature from L2_1 to B2 phase T_t~(L2_1/B2), the saturation magnetization M_s and the Curie temperature T_C were investigated in Co_2(Ti_(1-x)Fe_x)Ga. It was confirmed that T_t~(L2_1/B2) for 0.8 <= x <= 1.0 almost linearly decreases with increasing x, and M_s follows the generalized Slater-Pauling line in the middle region of x. T_C also increases with increasing x, exhibiting an upward convexity. It is concluded that a relatively high T_t~(L2_1/B2) , a high T_C and a low M_s can be obtained in the present alloys.
