摘要

A newly designed acid concentration-measuring device has been developed. The main feature of this device is to calculate the acid concentration by continuously measuring the density, the conductivity, and the temperature of the acid. This device simultaneously measures these data under low flow rate of acid in the short pipe sampling unit by using an industrial density meter, conductivity meter and electrical thermometer. This type of measuring enables us to analyze the acid concentration more correctly than conventional systems. To ensure the reliability of this device for a long period of time, this measuring system does not include any complicated mechanism which has been used in conventional systems. By applying this device to the acid concentration control of steel strip pickling lines, both the defect of the strip and the consumption of the acid have been greatly reduced, and this system has contributed to global environmental protection as well.
