Brazil's flat steel imports reached 2.08 million tonnes in 2011, down by 46% in comparison with the all-time high of 3.86 million tonnes in 2010, according to figures from the country's foreign trade ministry.The volume was still the second-highest recorded, higher than the 1.37 million tonnes of 2009 and the 1.34 million tonnes of 2008, the figures showed.
