Taiwanese steelmaker China Steel Corp (CSC) will file an antidumping claim if countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, India and Indonesia continue to sell cheap steel products to the island. The move is to ensure a "fair, competitive environment" in Taiwan's steel market, it said on Thursday July 9. Due to Taiwan's zero import tariff on steel, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and India have continued to sell large volumes to the island at "super low prices", according to the statement.
