Thailand slaps provisional duty on B-added HRC from China

Thailand's Ministry of Commerce announced on 19 August a provisional anti-dumping duty of 19.47% on imports of boron-added hot rolled coil from China. The duty took effect from 20 August for a period of 90 days and will be implemented on coil of minimum 0.0008% boron content, thickness of 0.90-50mm and width of 100-3,048mm. The industry has been anticipating the imposition of the duty, as Steel Business Brieng reported previously. The products are classied under HS codes 7225.3000, 7225.4000, 7226.9110, 7226.9190.
