LITTLE HOPE FOR CONSULTATION AT WTO

The European Commission holds out very little hope for a resolution of the Section 201 dispute at the consultation meetings taking place in Geneva between the USA, EU, Japan, South Korea and China. "We expect to be going to a dispute panel [over the section 201 tariffs]," said a spokesman for DG Trade in Brussels. "And I expect of other countries [Japan, South Korea and China] will as well."
