Vietnam Steel Assn (VSA) wants the government to stop allowing long product projects in the face of a worsening oversupply. A formal letter was sent to the government last week asking that it stop granting investment licences to long steel projects, said VSA general secretary Dinh Huy Tham. Projects without an investment licence in the country cannot proceed.
