Malaysian rebar up 33-40 dollars on iron ore gains

Domestic rebar prices in Malaysia have gone up by 100-120 ringgit (33-40 dollars) per tonne in the past week, tracking the rise in international iron ore prices. Rebar was trading at 2,200-2,270 ringgit per tonne this week, up from 2,100-2,150 ringgit per tonne, said mill and trading sources.
