Several companies such as Baader, Dantech Food Systems and Varlet posted 'sold' notices on some of their equipment during April's Seafood Processing Europe (SPE). And while these machines were most likely sold before the exhibition took place, it doesindicate the strong and growing requirement for innovative new processing machines. The demand for seafood is growing at a rapid pace, with imports and farmed fish helping to fill the gap, and ingenious manufacturers are working closely with their customers worldwide to meet the processing and packaging needs of the future.
