Millennium Paper Recycling Inc. (Suffern, N.Y.), has installed an HRB-Centurion baler made by Harris Waste Management Group Inc. (Peachtree City, Ga.), the first such unit to feature the new Harris-built, 200-hp flooded-suction hydraulic power unit. The new baler offers reliability, density, capacity, and fast cycle times, says Millennium, which is using the baler to process various grades of recovered paper.In related news, Harris Press & Shear has installed a BSH-1023-B-4 shear at C&C Scrap Iron & Metal Inc. (Kings Mountain, N.C.), which includes an advanced Harris-designed and -built 400-hp power plant. This flooded-suction hydraulic power unit is designed for quieter operation and longer pump wear life, the manufacturer says.
