VoDSL In practice: case studies

Video-over-DSL trials are now mushrooming across Europe. France leads the way, with services from France Telecom and Canal Satellite, and a broadcast TV service from ISP Free. Belgacom and Telenor are busy trialling VDSL services and there are a host of other services, trials and pilots at various stages of maturity - Imagenio in Spain, Bluewin in Switzerland, T-Online Vision in Germany, to name but a few. In Scandinavia and Italy, meanwhile, operators that have built fibre networks to deliver services are now looking to DSL to expand their footprints.
